"Within folk and magical practices, we use many symbols which by their own use, tradition and implicit sacred geometry, have great powers and capacities. Symbology has always permeated mankind ever since immemorial times. Even cavemen used to draw their hunts - before carrying them out - as a form of unconscious sigilization, so that the hunt would be prosperous and successful.

Among several of these symbols, which have taken power on their own and lost their meaning over the ages, resides that symbol called Triquetra. That literally means, in Latin, tri - “three”, quetrus - “corners or angles”. This symbol is also known as the Triple Node.

This symbol had its meaning attached, originally, to Odin (trinity representation). However, that trinity's aspect can be associated with a whole range of different perspectives - from the Christian myth (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) to the Wiccan myth (Maiden, Mother, and Elder). But still, in its origin, it is a Norse myth, representing Odin's power.. Both on Earth, in Heaven, and in the Sea.

The main attribution given to this symbol is a Protective one.. It is widely used in jewelries, especially necklaces and rings. It can also be seen in ceramics arts and architecture worldwide."
